Instagram Introduces TV App for Reels
Instagram has launched ‘Instagram for TV,’ bringing the popular reels format to larger screens via Amazon Fire TV devices in the US.
The experience is currently limited to Reels, which is grouped by channels. But is optimized for the large screen with similar approach as Netflix and other online streaming platforms.
With this move it is evident that Instagram is also clearly wanting a share of the ad-revenue that is growing in the CTV market, which is currently being enjoyed by YouTube.
